Ok, round two....

Asking for help again. How does this one stand up for about $1400? I'm new to vintage so a little clueless.

Not good. Bad redial, plus dial damage, polished lugs, …

The crown is quite nice, doesn’t belong on this ref though.

I’d suggest you do some reading first. Click through pictures of nice examples here and compare them to the one you posted. Maybe check out Desmond’s blog http://omega-constellation-collectors.blogspot.com/?m=1 and take your time to learn. You’ll soon notice how bad the font is on this example, why the -re spelling of Chronometre is a tell-tale sign, thee positioning of the minute ticks and many further details.

Thanks. I had noticed it has a seamaster crown and polished. Missed the dial. So learning but still obviously not up to where I should be.

When it comes to crosshairs:

When the ends don't match exact the indices like on 3 and 9 you don't have to look further, than its fake!

As noted, this watch is bad in just about every way. The dial is awful, the case is over-polished and soft, and the movement has been abused. If you spend some time each day looking at a few dozen examples, these details will soon jump out at you, and you won't waste your time considering pieces like this one, you will eliminate them from consideration in a few seconds.
