Hi I inherited an Omega watch from my grandfather.I would like to know if anyone can give me some more information regarding age/possible selling price etc etc..?? The strap is not original .. Thank you
Unfortunately not a sought after watch so value is at or slightly above gold melt value. If you decide to sell though, please sell to someone who will cherish and wear it as a watch and not melt it down!
These battery powered pre-quartz watches are high maintenance and low resale value so there aren't many collectors who like them. While interesting pieces in the puzzle of watch history, they don't fetch very much and parts are hard to come by. Keep it - there's only one 'your grandfather's' watch in the world so it's gotta be worth more in sentimental value than monetary value.
