Omega Constellation stainless steel automatic Chronometre Calendar, calibre 504 movement, serial number 16727526 (indicating manufacture in 1958). 34mm spring back case with gold observatory medallion, case numbered internally 2943 6 SC. This was the first Constellation with a date function, and named accordingly: only 25,000 Calibre 504 movements were made. Nice condition, lightly polished but retaining original sharp edges: observatory medallion sharp and appears unpolished. Omega crystal and a contemporary Omega cloverleaf crown. It was serviced and fitted with an Omega band by my Omega trained watchmaker when I bought it six years ago, but has not been worn since. I have decided to sell my collection, acquired over many years: I am not pushed to sell, but as my children have little interest in watches and I am in my late seventies, it seems time to start passing them on to other collectors. I have not sold on OF before but have been a member for five years, and have bought here. Priced to sell at USD 985. No offers please. Payment by PayPal or Wise. Freight by arrangement - watch located in Canberra, Australia.
One more week and it is off to eBay. Lots of likes here but no sale, so perhaps my pricing is off - eBay will sort that out.
