Kim Il Sung was a big Omega fan, primarily C-Case's and he gifted these watches to his generals and party leaders. 751 cal version with the star was a very lucky find for me at the time. I kept this watch all original and raw, including the crystal scratches.

I used to be a neutral collector, collecting every C-Case variant regardless of whether I liked it or not. Recently decided to keep only the watches I aesthetically liked. Selling my historic watches.

UAE watch in the pictures sold

They surface in Japan, something related to the proximity of the 2 countries but the rest would be speculation

Mine has the star, the last one to surface was identical to mine except it had no star. I speculate its related to rank

Interestingly only some North Korean C-Case's and one transitional 168.029 dial doesn't have a star on the dial, this specific model I listed also have a variation that doesn't have a star. I think it might be for rank, some lower rank recipients of these watches didn't get a star
