Hello members kazd here, hope everyone had a good day , I was looking over one of the posts about constellation issues if it maybe fake I included two

of my own for comparison and one of the questions was about the correctness of the back medallion , I’m including here pics of 3 of my Connies , one I just dug out of my watch box is the 168.018 untouched has cracked crystal so may distract the appearance it it has a different observatory dome design , so here they are , good evening , kazd

The observatory dome design changed around ‘66/‘67.
Originally, brickwork domes were only seen on solid gold examples.
Around ‘66/‘67 Omega (for reasons only known to them) applied the brickwork dome to SS and gold cap cases and solid gold cases had the plain dome.
As ever with Omega there is no definitive cut off point and some references that were produced through the transition changed while others didn’t - you need to know your references to assess a correct case back.
