For sale an Omega Constellation 167.005 in very good vintage condition and full set (including bracelet). This watch comes with an unusual Arabic Numerals dial which is sometimes described as a UK-only model. Whether that is actually true is something I cannot claim, however, the papers that come with this watch do indicate an original delivery in the UK. The combination of a rather unusual dogleg Constellation in good condition with box and papers is pretty rare...

I have always wanted to venture out into the broader Omega world, in spite of being a rather focused Speedmaster fan in the core. The reason for passing it on is that I acquired another dogleg Constellation with a pie pan dial and crosshair a few months ago. When worn in rotation, I keep preferring that pie pan and therefore let this piece go.

Please find an assessment of the watch below. I have attempted to be as brutally honest as can be. Also note that I am certainly not the first owner of this watch...

Dial: The original Arabic Numerals dial is in very nice condition. The Arabic numerals are nicely faceted and the lack of a date window leads to a well-balanced dial. Unlike many other Constellations, this one hasn't suffered too much and does not show any spotting. There is a tiny stain just above the 5 o'clock marker and another little mark between the 1 and 12 o'clock.
It's a gorgeous thing on the wrist, the dial works amazingly well under every shade of light. I have attempted to capture it in the pictures and unfortunately fail to do it the justice it deserves.

Hands: I believe these to be the original hands.

Case: Nice fat case with sharp edges and chamfers intact. The doglegs still show their faceted edges. Some hairline scratches but overall in very good condition. Caseback and medallion are in perfect order.

Movement and Serial: A trusty automatic movement with a serial in the 2441xxxx range.
Runs smoothly with all functions working properly. I do recommend a service after purchase as winding the watch by hand is hard. I have only worn it sporadically, but have not observed any major deviation.

Crown: Likely original decagonal crown with flat foot Omega logo

Bracelet: It came to me without a bracelet, but judging by the marks on the case used to sport one. I will include the 7 rows BoR which I added to the watch but as this one is very short (max. 16,5cm wrist circumference) and is not as good as the rest of the watch, please consider it a gift.

Set: Comes as a full set, including Box, Warranty Papers and the Chronometer Certificate (even in the original enveloppe bearing the serial number). Originally sold in the UK in 1969.

Can be shipped worldwide, although I would strongly prefer a F2F deal in the Netherlands given the value of this piece and the added benefit of meeting a fellow OF-member in person.

No returns, please ask questions and extra pictures in advance. I am not making a habit out of selling, but I do have some - exclusively positive - references as a seller and buyer on this forum and could share more.

References and Linkedin profile available upon request.

Price: EUR 1750 instead of EUR 1950 (Head + B + P, bracelet thrown in on top (gift), net to me and excluding shipping)

At the 1750 Euro asking price, you will receive the full set, including the bracelet pictured. Pretty good deal, I'd say!

In response to a new question raised; if you're not interested in the bracelet, I am open to reasonable offers excluding it.

Another question was whether I could confirm the movement numbers of the papers and the watch match. They do. A movement shot can be found here too:
