omega constellation and cortebert fake or real help

    image.jpg image.jpg IMG_0237.JPG IMG_0238.JPG image.jpg hello everyone new member here looking for some info i have the omega constellation with a serial number in the low 207's wich would make it a1963 or so but the dial is missing the dot on the i and it doesn't say swiss made don't think the dial belongs to the movement watch works the other i have no idea it's a omega cortebert 268 or 263 any ideas thank you

    Not sure on the Cortebert/Omega franken but unfortunately that Connie is a hot mess. Very bad redial. You should post on the forum to have a watch vetted BEFORE you pull the trigger. The resident experts (myself not included) will help you determine if a watch is a good buy.

    well i paid $60 for both so i'm not in the whole to bad compared to what i seen would there be a chance the the movement is fake also

    The movement is authentic (the 561). The only way to know if it's in serviceable condition would be to take it to a watchmaker

    the watch works and the date moves also does it keep accurate time not sure i would have to get that checked out so if i purchase a dial and case then i have a fine times yes

    according to google omega purchased cortebert in the 1970's then it shut down could this be something omega put together since they are both connected but i can't find this watch combinations no where any ideas

    i'm also in the market to buy an omega sea master from the early 1970"s cal 752 jumbo size stainless steel i see a few on ebay but the inside doesn't look clean so you have any ideas my budget is around $500

    Not sure what you mean by Jumbo 752, are you just talking about the regular ~36mm Seamaster "sparkle" day-date? Because if thats what you've got in mind $500 isn't going to buy you a particularly nice one, they can be had under a grand in decent shape but a $500 example will have a bit of a scummy dial and movement.
