Hello there,
First post on this forum I have just discovered (yes, shame on me
)
Among my belongings, I have few vintage Omega, including this fine "Connie" from 1953 (serial number 1390xxxx)
I was fortunate enough to find it with all its original bits and bobs, including
- box
- OEM bracelet and buckle
- Certificate of high precision
... well exactly as it should for a time capsule
... except for the original rating certificate which has not been kept in Omega archive
The dial also is not refinished (which becomes rarer and rarer) and in pretty good shape, with subtile spot of chocolate patina
Obviously, there are a lot of franken around, so I tried and passed every test from Desmond Omega Constellation blogspot .... and Desmond himself acknowledged its authenticity. Pretty reassuring isn'it it ?!?
Well, this peculiar Connie is nothing but 34mm of pure hapiness, in this trust my word
Hope you enjoyed it (pardon me for my poor written english, I'm one of these damn frogs
)... and looking forward to reading from you
Best - Fred
