Offering for sale my dome dial Constellation reference 168.005, c.1964 based on serial no. I bought this as a barn find, covered in dirt and with a cracked crystal in February of this year and gave it thorough clean of the case (no polish) and a had a new genuine Omega crystal fitted. Unfortunately it's getting very little wrist time so is offered for sale. Dial: factory original dome dial, not reprinted, redialled or restored in any way. The original tritium lume has aged to a wonderful shade of yellow. In excellent condition, with a couple of very slight marks near the centre and some light spotting to the lacquer, only visible when viewed from a certain angle. Pictures taken in various lighting conditions and at various angles to give an accurate representation. Hands are original with some loss of lume. Case: stainless steel case in very good condition. Nice and sharp facets and edges are evident. I don't polish my cases so some surface scratches as to be expected on a vintage watch. Original decagonal crown. Movement: Omega chronometer cal.561 with date. Running fine and all functions work as they should. Not serviced in my possession so I would plan on a service in the near future. Bracelet: Omega beads of rice bracelet with 70 end links. Assumed original to watch and good for a 7.75" wrist. Box: Red Omega Constellation box, but lacking inner section. Again, believed to be original. Summary: all in all this is a nice package that came from an estate and is believed to be all original, down to the decagonal crown and yellow caseback gasket. The case has had little/no polishing so retains it sharpness and the dial is wonderful. Terms: Payment via bank transfer, or PayPal for established members. Buyer is responsible for all fees associated with payment. I will include worldwide insured shipping. Watch is located in the UK. Price: £945.00 GBP.
