Hi,
I just bought this early Omega ref CK2108 and wanted to check on the movement serial which dates around 1928. Is this ok for this model?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers Russell.

Seems to be an early cal. 19.4
Hi,
Thanks for that. Couldn't work out the cal as still have to receive the watch. Normally I thought it would house a cal 23.4.
Cheers Russell.

Hi Russell,

I must confess that I am not familiar with these very early and small wrist watches - Yann would be the best bet...
Judging by the serial##: there seems to be a bit of a gap but that is not unusual for these early watches, even a higher movement# than the case# would not be any concern - have also seen this and confirmed by an extract.
The whole watch looks commensurate in condition and I do not see any red flags.
Only an extract will give you confidence but is it worth it to spend that kinda money?
I would just enjoy it for what it is, a well preserved little gem.

best
Erich

Hi,
I have taken the watch to my watchmaker for a closer inspection and it has a cal 23.7 ST2 movement stamped under the balance.
Cheers Russell.

well, imo it should read 23.7 S T2 which means cal 23.7 S(avonette) T(ransformation) 2

Hi Erich,
Yes you are correct.... it's probably the wrong way i have written it. This cal might now make more sense.
Cheers Russell.
