Hello All,

I recently purchased this Disco Volante dating from 1937/38, which is in simply amazing, and what I believe to be, original condition (the dial anyway). Can anyone point me to Omega reference books that feature this watch please? I don't seem to be able to find anything of substance written about it.

The second, and I suspect harder question is, does anyone know where I might source a box that they were originally sold with? Are there some specialist box collectors out there I might contact?

Many thanks for any assistance you can offer me.

Regards
Erik

I’m not aware of this model being featured in any of the standard Omega reference books. I’m sure there is at least a picture and brief description of it in A Journey Through Time, but I do not own that book.

I was able to find this article on the “Disco Volante” style of watch.

There is a nice discussion of the CK2013 there.

Also there is this thread that includes an original catalog entry.

Thanks, I’ll check out the book. I’ve seen the Goldammer piece before.

Yes, I knew about the 30T2 variant. I have seen photos of your watch before and love the cream dial.
