Hi! Just got this CK 2099 Cal. 30, serial 8970350 so around 1938/39 Not sure about the crown, the CK 2099 I have found all have different crowns, should it be at flat one? Found other CK 2099 with same blued hands, and there are radium in the lumen. But the second hand dont look correct and black on black dont read well, what could be a correct second hand? It complementing my CK 2097 fine, 32,5 mm. vs. 37,5 mm. same case design, cal. 30 and black dial Best Thomas
This is a very nice watch... I would expect a flatter crown and the second hand to have a pointed/arrow shaped tail, likely in steel, hand and crown both something similar to the factory picture.
My 2099 has a signed replacement crown, so can't be of any help, Thomas. Good to see a black dial, though! Art
I have thought about your question concerning the second hand again... I think a gold tone would be correct more likely with the dial, though I am not really sure along with the blued radium hands. And I forgot to mention that I also love the watch on the left...
