Omega Chrono Quartz Service advice

I purchased a chrono quartz and it was not working. I replaced the batteries but still nothing. Here are some photos of the movement: M9f8hz92RV4cnaqM6

I inquired from Omega about servicing this. They replied and said they would send a Fed-X mailer to send for evaluation. Their price list shows the 1611 movement as one they can work on.

Is this my best route? Is there anyone good at fixing these that will keep me from paying $1000+ to get it serviced?

I am new to this forum so be easy on me! Lol

Thanks for that document, let us know how it goes, they seem to say that repairs start at $1000 for the 1611 though so that's close to the value of the watch :-(

Yes
Where are you located sir?
If you`re willing to ship your watch abroad I could get you an contact with an genius at electrical watches of all kind he serviced all of mine to.
Afterwards your watch is better than it left the factory back then.

I had a Seamaster Professional with a bad movement. My local watchmaker just replaced the entire movement. Didn't have to send it to Omega.

The 1611 is a combination digital/analog side-by-side movement that is Omega-only. He really has little to no choice.
