Omega Century

Hi everyone,

I’m new here and I just purchased this Omega Century on eBay. It is a Cal 283 and serial number 14,9XX,XXX. It has a star watch company case back that has damage. Just wondering if anyone has any insights on the watch and if it would be a good idea to replace the watch back. I understand these Century watches were exported and were commonly fitted with these cases. Is there a certain Omega back that would fit or would I need the Star Company case?

Any leads on where to find a case back?

thanks in advance!

Wear and enjoy as is.

Finding a case back will be nearly impossible although you can scour eBay.

Send the pics to Replateit and see what they have to say. They do great work at reasonable prices.
