I have up for sale a vintage Omega De Ville Chronograph, reference 145.017, caliber 860.

A truly elegant "dress chronograph".

The caliber 860 is the 2 register version of the 861 "moon watch caliber".
The watch is in near perfect condition. Case is crisp and unpolished. Crown signed.

Case: The ref 145.017 case is in near perfect condition. Sharp edges as it has never been polished. It measures 35x40mm (without crown) but wears larger.

Movement: The watch was fully serviced by WatchGuy UK about 2 1/2 years ago.
It keeps excelent time and setting/winding/chrono is crisp.

Dial and Hands: Original 2-register silver dial and steel hands in nice condition. The dial has some age spots visible in certain angles. Please see pictures.

Bracelet: The watch is sold HEAD ONLY! (I can include a generic strap free of charge). The pictured bracelet can follow the watch at a surcharge.

The watch comes complete with an extract from the Omega archives as pictured.

Pictures are an important part of the description, please view them carefully and let me know if you need any more.

I am asking USD2450. Tracked shipment and PayPal-fees included.
Contact me for more details/pictures. I entertain sensible offers.

It is a vintage watch, so it comes with no gurantees related to waterproofing or similar.
Returns are only accepted if the watch is not as described / pictured.
Please request references if so desired. I am a private collector and have several references here on OF.

The watch and I are located in Norway. EU shipment is possible. I will always do my best to assist in keeping shipment costs and fees as low as possible.

Beautiful.

You say it wears larger...
Would you have a wrist shot from a bit further distance?

Thanks

Hi.
I will see what I can find.
The key reason is that the dial is relatively large. The distance from the side of the case to the crystal edge is close to zero.
I have many chronographs in my collection. This one wears more like a 37 than a 35mm.
I have almost 7.5 inch wrists. It wears very well IMO.

Cheers
