Not sure, but every one I've ever serviced (all English) have this between the Fri and Sat. Likely a code for language, but that's just a guess. There are something like 35 variations available in different colours and languages...English, French, German, Italian, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Korean, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Spanish...

I like your theory. The "A" could stand for "Anglais" ("English" in French). Would be edifying to see what the letter is on, say, a Spanish day disc--if it's "E" for "Espagnol" I think you are in business. :)
    Best,
    T.

The proof would be if you found one with the letter "ˈt͡ɬ" for the ˈt͡ɬɪ.ŋɑn market. ::facepalm1::
