Omega Bumper Wind Value?

Hi there,

I have an Omega Bumper Wind Watch with caliber .354 movement. The case is 2577-22. I want to know if people think the watch is original based on photos. I purchased the watch from an estate sale and believe it is all original but am not really sure. I am also wondering if anyone knows the value of something like this?

Thank you!

Ell

Hi, looks legit and nice.

Since you know what you have there, you should be able to find out something about the value.

Pretty nice example by the looks of it. If you put it on eBay you'd get between £400-£450 I imagine

Looks decent, the case doesn't look like it has any wear through in the gold, the movement looks clean. Do you have any shots of the inside of the case back and possibly a couple good close ups of the dial?

That is a very nice example indeed and looks to be totally untouched with a beautifully clean movement. That sort of condition usually attracts a premium and I think it would fetch a bit more in the UK, up to £600 or possibly even above. For someone who (I presume) doesn't know vintage Omega, you picked a good un! If as I suspect you got it quite cheaply, my suggestion is to keep it and enjoy that glow of satisfaction whenever you remember the bargain you bought, after getting it serviced of course (by an independent vintage specialist - there is absolutely no need to send it to Omega).

thank you for the response. I didn’t realize that it was all original although I thought it looked that way. I think I just might hang onto this one and enjoy it.

thanks,
