Hello Omega Forum,
i recently bought this Omega after only a small consideration cause i like the look and now want to know more about it.
What i know so far is:

18 kt Caseback and 343 Caliber (the Seller opened the caseback before i bought it, but i didnt make any photos, and after reading https://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-omega-posting-guide.383/ , i will go to a watchmaker in some time to get it opened again and can post photos then)
18 kt Case (Helvetia Stamp on the Side)

I looked through the https://www.omegawatches.com/vintage-watches for caliber 343 and found no matches.

There is lume on the dial, which also doesnt match any of the watches i found while browsing for a bit.

Greetings Tobias

Hello, Tobias, and welcome. I was a little surprised you found nothing - I selected for cal 343 and found four matches: see this link to their website.
Only about 5,000 of this movement were produced, so it is not that commonly seen. According to the Omega Museum as well as the corporate site, it is associated with the Centenary and the launch versions of the original Seamaster (whose very earliest examples did not have the sub-branding on the dial). Here is what you're looking for.
It will be interesting to hear what you find out - good luck.

IIRC, the 2576 chronometre also uses the cal 343.

yeah i found the 4 and the closest match would be the centenary from the 4. But none of them had lume, so i discarded them as a option

Lume? You don't identify a watch reference by the dial.

I think you better just have the watch opened and post photos.

Looks like someone cleaned the dial. If a 343. Should say chronometer.

Printing is on the layered lacquer coating and could have been removed when cleaned?

My 343 has chronometer and Seamaster on the dial and 5 positions adjustment on rotor, too.
