Hi Everyone and thanks to all the community for all the infos that this forum is giving to watch enthusiasts and professionals. I've been lurking the forum for a while, but sometimes, for a noob like me, it's very overwhelming, especially the world of vintage watches. Understanding if a watch it's worth considering then is really really complicated. As in this case.
I found an Omega Bumper ref. 2576 cal. 342 on chrono24 (The seller asked 500 eur) but something appear a little bit suspect. The dial is for sure "repainted", what i suspect is that for the repainting was used a fantasy dial. I've doubts also on the hands. What you think?

Another question is: the vintage watches in the private market sections, are all "verified" in a way? Can i buy safely (or almost safely? ) I really would like to pull the trigger for my first omega vintage, but i'm scared

I think your suspicions are entirely well founded. That's a bad redial in a polished case, hands seem to have come from the parts bin (seconds hand at least).

Keep up the good work.
