Hi folks, I recently got the Omega mesh bracelet 020ST1380237 with seatbelt clasp and cannot find info or get my AD to confirm if the following Omega deployment buckle will will work with it. I want to have the ability to adjust on the fly for wrist swelling Omega 20 mm 94522023 Deployment Buckle All Ofrei's site says in that this 20 mm Omega Deployment Clasp works with the Omega Metal Mesh Bracelet 021ST1962. Is this one in the same? Thanks in advance This is the mesh I have
The best clasp for vintage mesh is the Ploprof clasp, it does have the push to extend. The Ploprof clasp is designed for a different mesh bracelet which has tubes at the springbars, not open loops.
Here are some pictures of the correct bracelet with the new style clasp. I would think the non-removable links would work, but you need to get the exact length correct on the mesh.
http://forums.watchuseek.com/f20/older-omega-mesh-new-ploprof-deployment-buckle-possible-667191.html Both the standard new PO buckle and the new Plolprof buckle work with the old Omega mesh in 22mm and 20mm, as the ends of both mesh are 20mm. Both buckles are the same other then the engraved text.
I would love to see it too. From what I found the clasp is very long. Takes up the entire bottom side of the wrist.
