Omega Breads of Rice bracelets - are the ones on eBay fake?

I'm wondering how much these are actually worth, and whether the $60-80 ones on eBay are fake

I mean, even asking the question, they must be fake, otherwise it's too good a deal for $60

If they are fake, it's sad that they sell so much and so freely

Link? There were lots of BOR makers back in the day and currently a few in the east making new ones. If they are branded Omega and selling for $60- they yes, undoubtedly they are fake.

The fakes I know that are currently for sale on eBay regularly for about 60USD and that I find are increasingly often on vintage Omegas being offered ususally seem to have no number stamped into the end links, a clasp marked 1502 and only the outside of the bracelet seems to be polished.

Agreed. There seems to be an influx over the last few months that unfortunately coincides with me looking for some BOR end links.

Many of those end links are still available from Omega. Your local jeweler can likely call and order them.

There are both fake and genuine BOR bracelets on eBay. Without a link or picture of the one you’re referring to no one can say for certain, but if it has a buy it now of $60 it’s highly likely to be fake.

There has been steel Omega BOR for around 60USD BIN listed on ebay for a couple of years, stamped 1068 no.12 and unsigned ends.
Can't seem to find any listing atm but they are definitely fake.

If they are fake, the seller is clearly a scammer, as in descriptions, he says they are Omega and "Very Hard to Find"

Today I finally bought a BOR bracelet, but even after all this discussion, I can't believe how ignorant I still am

The one I bought comes from this watch: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970s-OMEG...Watch-DAY-DATE/383550657801?&autorefresh=true

Apparently they didn't stamp the endlinks during the 1020 calibre era, I don't know whether those gone eBay listings were scams or fakes, but apparently non-stamped doesn't mean it's fake either

Correct me if I'm wrong

I also call this chain BOR too, but it's more of a chain and not exactly the rice bracelet too I guess
