    Hi all:

I am interested in getting an Omega steel bracelet for my Speedmaster 105.012-66. Can anyone help me out with bracelet options? What end pieces would I need?

I am looking to stay on a low budget $200-300, so it obviously doesn't have to be correct to reference. I just want it to fit correctly.

    Thank you in advance.

That will show you the actual ref but you're looking at least 5x your budget.

An 1171 with 633 will fit and look good but they will also be around 2-3x budget. Although an 1171/1 is slightly cheaper.

After that you're looking at generic 20mm bracelets but personally I wouldn't go down that route on such a lovely watch.

You're better off spending $2/300 on some nice leather straps i.m.o

A generic bracelet will not look good....and your budget will run to 1x516 20mm period correct end link, which also won't look great.

105012s look great on nice leather straps tho!

If you want to stay within, or at least close to your budget, and have a genuine Omega bracelet, which has the earlier 'flat link' appearance, I would suggest looking for a 1175 with 640 endlinks. While these were issued around 1971/72 (commonly found on the 'straight writing models) and after the first 1171 bracelets they certainly look older and thus more correct for your watch. The endlinks are flat which reinforces the vintage appearance.
An added advantage is that they are generally less well known than the 1171, therefore less likely to be searched for on eBay etc and consequently can be picked up for less.

Thank you all for the responses. I am currently wearing it on a number of different relatively pricey leather bands. I am really just looking to add some steel to the rotation, without making a large expenditure. I think I will try and look for a 1175 with 640 end links as per @TomGW.

If anyone has come across one for sale, I would greatly appreciate letting me know!

You could try a JB Champion or a Milanese bracelet

I say bite the bullet and find an original 1506 bracelet.
If you think they're expensive now, wait till next year...
At the end of the day, it will only add value to your watch.
