Omega boxes

I think it is time I let some of these boxes go so I’m going to be listing the ones I don’t need soon on eBay.

Before doing that - just wondered if anyone can give me a little more information about them so I can advertise them correctly.

I have ladies and men’s boxes, with paper bottoms and plastic.

I’m thinking that the paper bottomed boxes must be the oldest (late 50s) going forward to the red plastic bottoms in the 60s and 70s followed by these nice larger boxes with curved square like shapes around the logos on top which I believe are from the 80s?

I then have the one box, darker than the rest that slides out, which I have no idea about...

oh and then there’s this one I almost forgot - Omega Dynamic? Don’t even know how this would fit a watch... haha

Any information or confirmation will be appreciated 😀

Unfortunately I can't help with the year or which pieces went in which box but noticed your closing in on the magic 200 post count.

Perhaps by way of gathering the required info in this thread hold of eBay and perhaps offer to sell some first within the OF community?

Yeah of course, 4 of them have already sold on eBay and I am going to keep a couple for myself. But absolutely once I get to 200 they’ll be on the accessories page! 😀

Can you share the story on how you acquired all the boxes?

Its not an exciting story I am afraid. All but 2 of them were bought in a single lot in an auction.

These are likely older service return boxes that Omega used decades ago when someone sent in a watch for factory service.

Rolex has very similar ones in green and gold.

Not sure of exact dates, but 1960’s to 1980’s seem right to me.

Nowadays, Omega uses a zip up travel case with a foam insert to return watches.
