Hi at all, I am Jo from Germany. I recently got this watch and would be lucky to get some informations about it, f.e. Originality, age, rarity and so on. Diameter is 38mm, case is steel, winds and runs perfect. Thank you at advance for all informations you got for me. Best regards, Jo
Chronometers have "adjusted 5 positions" right on the movement. Hard to make out what it says on yours, but does not look like chronometer. Still you may be able to save this watch if you can source a proper dial. This is what comes up in the Omega Vintage Database for reference 2506: below. The -1 may be a slight variant of this watch. Most likely the dial. I hope you did not over spend on it. It does not look bad, actually quite good as a daily wearer. Just not totally correct. Return it if you think you were taken advantage of, but of course this has also to do with what you paid. Research is the key to Omega watches. Good infos, thank you ! The movement has the typing: 17 jewels. Adjusted five (5) positions and temperature.
Thank you, gentlemen, for your clear answers. I have some nice Omegas, but I am no expert in the very old ones, as you have seen. Many thanks ! Watch is going back to the seller.
