Omega Band / Clasp Compatibility

I have a 90s Seamaster with the 020ST1503825 bracelet. The clasp is in good shape but the band is shot. I've replaced 100% of pins/sleeves twice and the pins will slowly work their way out. Out of frustration I ordered what I thought was a compatible bracelet with band (STZ010108) & clasp (STZ001159).

I initially noticed the clasp was different, oval buttons and lack of the "Seamaster Professional" etch. I figured not problem, I'll just swap the clasps on the new bracelet...

Now I am realizing Omega changed their pin design. I'm struggling to find historical details of the change but it appears they went from the pin & sleeve design to a pin & screw. So, with the background established, on to my question.

Is the STZ010108 band compatible with the clasp from the original 020ST1503825? If not, I've dug myself a very expensive hole 🙁

I have no idea, but you might put this in the watchmaking thread with some pictures. And I am in the 'Ville 502 also.

Not that I'm aware of.

As I understand it you want to connect a pin + sleeve clasp to a bracelet that is pin + screw. You can do the opposite, connect a pin + screw clasp to a pin + sleeve bracelet. But the pin + sleeve pins are too thick to go through the holes on a link that is pin + screw.

The only solution I can think of is to use the pin + screw pin to connect the clasp your thinking of, and use something like epoxy or something like that to plug the pins in so they don't fall out.

But why not just use the pin + screw adjustable clasp you just bought?

Thanks for the confirmation. I'll rock this clasp until I figure out something to replace the original links...Going to have to get new tools to work with these screws too. Lesson learned.
