    Hi there,

I would appreciate some help in identifying this omega automatic - I haven’t as of yet taken it to a watch maker to open the back off. I know it’s probably going to be very hard to identify it without the cal. I haven’t seen a dial with just the number 12 before hopefully someone can shed a bit more light on the watch just by the pictures. Any help would be much appreciated.

I doubt anyone can ID it from those photos but it is going to be a 266, 267, 268 or 269 movement. It looks good, the crown I think is a replacement but not glaringly so, and that's a good sign in a way as it means it's likely been serviced at some time. You'd be amazed how accurate these non-chrono movements can be if correctly adjusted. I have been wearing my 266 for ten days and it's currently 3 seconds out.

    The dial
Has been cleaned. You can see traces of the old lacker around the Omega script. Not a big deal unless you prefer even patina.
