The answer should be on the case back. Find a watchmaker to open it. Nice find 馃憤

Thrift store says to me you bought it for a tenth of its value. I'd make a donation to equalize the karma.

As mentioned, the pertinent data is on the inside. I can tell you very early 50s likely gold-filled and 11/16" strap.

You did good.

thanks. I got lucky.

I鈥檝e seen some Omega Automatics with the 12 numerals like this online, dated to the late 40s, but those have a smaller dial at the bottom. What makes you say 1950s?

This thing has quite the clunk. The kinetic mechanism inside must be quite large. It鈥檚 also a little slow, though I haven鈥檛 worn it through a full day yet, but I suspect the insides are a bit dirty or the jewels are, I don鈥檛 know, old? (I鈥檓 new to watches, so forgive me for not knowing the terminology or mechanisms yet.)

Take it to a watchmaker and let鈥檚 us know what the movement and caseback say. Service it and wear it proudly 馃榾
