Hi guys and gals, doing some slight downsizing at the moment and this one is next.

Recently purchased off eBay a few months ago. It has been worn a couple of times and then placed aside, so I'd like to see it stay in the OF family (or to someone who is starting to get into Omegas!)

Case: Stainless Steel, 35mm across without crown, 38mm with, and 42mm betweeen lugs. Lug width is 18mm. In unpolished condition with scratches consistent of use. Caseback has tool marks as well as a sales award engraving from 1973. Internal caseback shows a serial of 166.0118 along with service marks.

Dial: Original with nice patina on the hands and lume markers. There appears to be a couple of specks of dust on the dial at the 3 o'clock marker in between the crown and the date window.

Crystal: Original Omega signed crystal. One small scratch in the lower left quadrant as well as several bumps around the edges.

Crown: Unsigned crown. The crown can be pushed to advance the date as long as the time is not between 11pm-3am.

Movement: Automatic 17 Jewel Cal 1480 with a 33xxxxxxx serial number gives this watch a 1971/2 manufacture date. In good working condition; unsure of service history, so would strongly recommend a service before daily use.

The watch wears quite well, and around my 7" wrist has decent presence. The watch will come on the new leather band as pictured.

I'm asking for the price I paid for it: $250USD via PayPal. I am located in Australia, so the price includes shipping worldwide as well as signature on delivery. Insurance can be organised at an extra cost. Any related VAT/Import Duties will need to be paid by the buyer. Refunds will only be accepted if the watch is not as described.

Kind Regards,

Eugene

Weekly bump! Will include a replacement Omega signed crown that will fit this reference. Crown has been opened from packaging however it remains in unworn condition.

Some watches move really slow on here, for some reason. It's easier selling a really expensive collector's watch than a well-priced entry-level piece 😵‍💫
