The coat of arms on the second hand would put me off. Apart from that the watch is lovely.

I like it and I don't. I'd prefer if it didn't have any 007 logos on the dial, but rather on the rotor the (similar to what was done with the Skyfall PO, but without the 007 on the dial).

I think that I will reserve judgement - I'd encourage everyone to do the same...
(of course, that wouldn't be nearly as much fun )

My 2 cents.... I kind of like it....not a must have, but I'm intrigued... the coat of arms shield on the second hand is a bit much, but could be incredibly subtle on the wrist .... we're looking at magnified views here...

I'm actually quite excited to see that textured dial on the wrist.... given the AR on the sapphire for these AT's that dial could turn into something that I can't turn down...it may really pop, or it could look like a wetsuit, the way these pictures have it appear...(I keep seeing Superman's costume from man of Steel)
Otherwise, I actually like the way they subtly put the 007 logo in the 'gauss' rating...rather than plastering it all over the dial like the 50th, or on the second hand like Casino Royale...

I am not a huge fan of the special editions....although the Skyfall PO and the QoS PO were pretty cool... and if they continue the trend of unique textured dials on these special editions....I may just be in...

I just posted an article about this watch this morning: http://www.woundforlife.com/2015/02/04/opinion-fixing-james-bond-omega-watches/

Basically, it's not awful, but with the roll Omega has been on, the Bond watches seem to be their weak point. Our article lays out a solution, which involves Omega creating an MoD issued watch for the film, and then doing a limited release of that watch in real life. I think that would pull in both watch and Bond fans, instead of predominantly Bond fans.

FWIW, @Superdoc, I didn't mention the Gauss rating in the article, but I didn't mind that either. They certainly could have done worse with the OO7 branding.

Im guessing there will be a planet ocean to accompany this like they did in the skyfall?

Or a SM300.

It's possible, but Bond switched to the AT after the opening sequence of Skyfall, making me think the AT is the new Bond watch full time. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if the new SM300 made an appearance, as @cuts33 has just beat me to saying.

Think he wears the PO LM in the opening sequence (sorry to be pedantic).

In titanium, because Craig thought the steel was too heavy. If you want to get pedantic, let's start talking about the original Bond Submariner, was it a 6538 or a 5510?

The real question is, is it *actually* 15,007 gauss tolerant, or just 15,000. That's the final decision point I think.

As far as the watch is concerned, I have to agree - while I like the design, I could never wear it. I was guessing that the new Bond watch would be the Seamaster 300 reissue, but apparently not.

It's not so bad, but the non-007'ed AT's are better looking. The first thing that stuck out in my view is the lack of a date surround.
