·Hi all,
Last year, I purchased an Aqua Terra 38 mm on a rubber strap (ref. 220.12.38.20.02.001), and I’m now looking into the possibility of fitting it with a bracelet. Unfortunately, I’ve found it quite difficult to source an original Omega bracelet for this specific model - even on eBay they seem to be fairly rare.
I recently managed to pick up a bracelet from the Aqua Terra Shades model. As far as I understand, it uses different end links than those required for my watch. That’s not a major issue, as I got it at a very good price and could always resell it. However, before going down that route, I wanted to ask: would it make sense - or would it even be possible - to source the correct end links for my watch and swap them onto this bracelet in order to fit it to my AT? It feels a bit Frankenstein-ish, but perhaps it’s doable.
Finally, do you have any tips on where to source an original bracelet that would fit my watch?
Thanks very much for your time and suggestions.
Kind regards,
xenophil
