I have a barely worn A11 SS... if you can get your hands on a 007 SM coming out, I'll trade ya...
Another poster figuring out a way to circumvent the 200 post requirement for selling.

He’s not put it up for sale has he? Just a comment that he’d be up for a swap...

Not really... I'm not selling it.... a fellow Omega collector was looking for one that is not marked up and I happen to have one....Isn't that the point of these communities? To help out a fellow collector?

They aren’t coming out in order so the serial number doesn’t matter. There are people on here who have a higher serial number than mine who received them months ago.

Best of luck. It’s worth the wait.

Thanks for the info. Makes you wonder what kind of distribution process Omega is using. There's probably a story behind that.

No story, just reality, cases are made in one place, movements elsewhere, all at different times. Then there is testing and final assembly on different assembly lines. Then accumulating them to be sent to different markets. There is little likelihood they will come out in any kind of numerical order. There is no need for them to be sequential, no advantage to Omega or the buyer, no one cares.

A friend got the call that his AD got his Apollo 11 today. Number is in the mid-5000 range. Unfortunately, he won't be able to pick it up until the beginning of January due to the holidays.😵‍💫::facepalm1::

The dealer showed me 2 of the A11’s that came in at the same time. One was 3xxx and the other 5xxx.

I wouldn’t read anything into the order of serial numbers.

If I didn't have a family (and were still in my 20's) I'd plot the serial number against a web-mined post date and see how jagged this thing is...

6969, baby!

Got the call from my AD on Dec 24th just after mid-day that I had an early Christmas present dropped off not 5 minutes ago and believe you me I was at the Ad within the hour to pick it up. My grubby little hands being the first to touch the bare metal of the watch since leaving the factory.

I live in the States and the number on my watch is 24xx.

1st pic fresh out of the shipping coffin with protective plastic still on
watch seen below my wrist is my daily driver, the BB58 on an Erica's original

2nd pic in my car with nature light

Must see in person to truly appreciate

IMHO, the watch does indeed live up to the hype and will be staying in my collection for a very long time.

A couple of Xmas shots of my Gold that arrived in December! Super happy with this watch. It’s the best watch I’ve owned for sure!
