Did you take a good look inside the spring bar tool? I just checked mine and when I unscrewed the cap and turned the tool upside down nothing came out. But when I looked inside I saw the spring bars in there. They were stuck to the side and I had to use some tweezers and pull them out.

I was curious as I couldn't remember if there were spring bars in the tool or not so I hauled the Apollo 11 box out this afternoon, and after unscrewing the cap there were indeed two spare springbars. There were also two in my 1957 Speedmaster tool, and there were four extra springbars in the kit that came with my Speedmaster NATO strap. I'd contact your dealer and tell them you don't have them, it should be part of the package.

I don't think you have to change springbars if you are just going to use a NATO strap. But IIRC when I changed the steel bracelet on my Speedmaster to an Omega leather strap I did have to use the spare bars which were thinner then the ones used on the bracelet.

Sorry I don’t understand. What list?
I’ve never said I was number 1 on any list I don’t think, other than the list above (which I created hence being in the number 1 spot)

I think I understand your post now Stuffler. I’ve never said I was number one on my dealers list. Think you are confusing me with someone else. I’m number 4 on my dealers list.
