For the record, I ordered a new spring bar about three weeks ago for my SS LE11 after my watch fell of my wrist as I undid the clasp. At the time I slide the spring bar back in to its hole, when the AD inspected it he said he will get my a new one just in case. I can get a photo of it as and when it arrives.

I'm thinking he is asking if the springbar is black in colour?

You're not making use of the spares which are in the springbar tool?

They question is whether you think it's the same or it's
specific to the Velcro strap/leather as a leather strap requires a slightly different springbar

Ah OK, so the SB's could be different for the additional "cork" strap, which looks and feels crap BTW.

Should be at the end where you can unscrew the cap.

I need an extra pair of eyes to confirm the extra set springbars (left on the picture),which are stored in the tool ,are same as the ones already installed on the bracelet (068ST2207). Took a picture but not sure as I suspect the additional set could be specific to the Velcro strap (068ST2208).

Free lengths...

2207 = 22.428 mm

2208 = 23.317 mm

You can simply measure to determine which you have.

Cheers, Al

Checked the original and the extra springbars and they all are 2207. @Archer would you feel the Cork velcro strap/Velcro strap with keepers can get away with the 2207 contrary to a leather strap.

Typically, Omega recommends the 2208's for watches with 20 mm lugs, and straps. However when I look up all the accessories in the box, it only mentions the 2007 bars, along with the cork strap.

Personally, I use 2208's on my own Speedmaster with straps.

Cheers, Al

Tnx Al, very appreciative for your precious time to help out. Clearly Omega should have paid more attention to make sure the accessories match with the items in box. That being said I'm lucky to have even gotten a spare set of spring bars contrary to others.
