Haven't seen this discussed but has anyone noticed the significant power reserve increase of the new 3861 movement? The standard 1861 movement will run for 50-51 hours (stated reserve 48 hours), and the 3861 movement was supposed to be slightly upgraded to 50 hours. But my example runs a full 65 hours with very close timekeeping until the bitter end. That's a real world increase of about 27% (65/51), pretty impressive; better accuracy AND much longer running time.

Chanced upon on at an OB near me; SA brought this out for me to see, but already has an owner. It was being sent back for some correction with the crown. Winding was very stiff. Very, very beautiful in person.

Just wanted to share the look of my A11 50SS on a GGB velcro strap, instead of the standard Velcro in the box. IMHO this strap lets the watch really take center stage in comparison to the bracelet. I also can preserve the bracelet from wear.

This watch looks good on anything but I feel it really belongs on the very special bracelet.

Speedmasters have to be one of the most versatile watches for different bracelet/strap options. All looking very good here.

Can anyone recommend (non Omega) a competitively priced black leather strap (patent leather or shiny leather) deployant buckle, I think this watch would look great with one as per the strap on 311.33.42.30.01.001. Cheers

Have a google for Bobs straps\Waccex for more choice than you can shake a stick at.

Anyone got an idea of what percentage of these watches are out there yet?

I wonder if we could have mini poll on here so that we can work out a rough % of how far along we are.

    Add your name to one of the lists below if you want to get an idea of how many are delivered and how many we are still waiting for;

You need more info to put it into context:

    a Name
    b Country
    c Date received
    d Number
    e OB or AD
    f Date ordered, deposit %

These factors are in rhe equation to some extent as to when you get your watch.

    a Evitzee
    b US
    c Aug 25
    d 96x
    e OB
    f Mar 28, 100%

I think if you make it too difficult people won’t respond. Let’s keep it simple. People can add country and number if they like but I only want a general overview.

Thanks for the replies so far guys
