·Gloves are for image, started a few years ago to give the image of precious cargo. Overblown imo.
A sold watch waiting for pickup shouldn't be wound, worn or played with, but I have no problem with a dealer pulling it out of the safe and showing it to someone, maybe they are a potential customer for the next one, or just an interested collector.
To each their own. I don't need to collect 50 DNA samples on my watch (or more than DNA... refer to "peanut bowl study"), people playing with pushers, crown etc. BNIB means just that!!
If people are interested in seeing it and/or handling it once it is unwrapped and on my wrist, then we can talk, not before.
