I think that even if you had that wouldn’t have helped much. There was so much speculation about the watch and no real information from Omega. People like me took the gamble and put the deposit around March for something that nobody knew what/how or when it was going to come.
After the experience of Ultraman, ST1, ST2, hondikee limited, it is shoot first and ask questions later
Yeah, i will It was this one cos it was the moon landings that really spark my enthusiasm. I actually had a snoopy reserved from a dealer back in 2015, i passed. I didnt wanna miss out again, however ....
As others stated earlier, I was not holding my breath for a delivery on or around 7/21, but I will admit that I am a bit bummed to have confirmed that my Apollo 11 50th SS piece will not be delivered anytime soon. As a back-up, I just called the OB to set aside a regular SS Speedy that I am planning on collecting Sunday, exactly 50 years later... Not sure yet if I will eventually gift it to my son upon his graduation day in 10 years from now or if I will hold on to it and have a NOS piece someday in the future, but at least this will soften a bit the blow of waiting for the Apollo 11.
LoL That is exactly what I have done, but with an AD and for the exact same reason. I live in hope that when I get there they bring out the white box instead
This morning I've had the email to say that my watch will be here next week, still undecided if I will keep it or sell it on.
Nice one, I returned the phone call to omega in hk and found out that I am 50th on the waiting list... Not sure the trade war is gonna have that much of an impact to get me to the top of it!
Not sure if many of you are that interested in the operation. But having seen a couple of questions about chrono function recently I thought I’d photography the hour marker position when it gets close to the hour At 5min before the hour change the hour hand sits just shy of alignment. From what I can see, it gets very close at the 50min mark This is 5min to the hour Then the next pic is perfect alignment on the hour change Mine like any other chrono from omega does the minute change at 59.5 sec - starting at 58.5
Was told by OB that the model with the 321 movement would be announced on July the 20th and to watch Instagram for info.
would have thought they would have let the moon landing go by first, but i guess it was the original movement.
