You guys have a terrible influence on me...

On the other hand, I've found over the years many much stupider ways to spend €40 on an online sale.

One more for your archives. It's not as pretty as some that have been posted but I don't see it in your charts:

Hey! Could anyone help me in identifying this ones? I've got it from my grandfather and I think he got it from his grandfather or father, I don't remember and can't ask him anymore... It seems to be old, but I don't know the year and I don't find identification marks on them. Thanks!

New addition to the family. It cost me the princely sum of £28 on eBay. I haven't opened it yet.

Hello!
My father gave me this Omega Stopwatch many years ago. Had totally forgotten I even had this one. Does anyone have any information what model etc. this one might be? Haven't opened it yet as I do not want to damage the casing by prying it with a screwdriver etc... It ticks just fine after rewinding, but only dial that is moving is the lower smaller dial.. ticking one revolution every 1 minute.

I have a few Omega stopwatches and although different to yours one of the has the separate pusher.
In the case of mine it has a pair of second hands one of which is stopped by the pusher to give a reading and restarted by the pusher without interfering with the timing of the other hand.
So my guess is the pusher function is to do with getting a reading in the 100ths of a second and given the the outer dial is in 100ths of a second I think that it’s rather pointless to have that hand wildly spinning so I would imagine that hand should only give a reading when stopped. I’m thinking that you start timing by pressing the crown and the seconds hand in the lower sub dial starts and to stop the timing to read the results by pressing the crown again, and reset by pressing the crown. The pusher is used to stop the watch to read and pushed again to continue timing without resetting.
That’s only a guess on my part, and I’m sure someone will be along soon to correct me :whipped:.
I suggest you try various combinations of pressing the crown and pusher and see what happens.

When the lower seconds sub dial clocks up a full minute does the upper dial indicate one minute?

How can I like what I have already liked?

Sometime I should add Ω and Lemania to my ever expanding collection of timers (stop watches.)

I wonder if anyone can assist me with this anonymous stop watch that recently wandered into my sticky mitts. The quality, shape of the bridges and crown wheel configuration lead me to think it might be an early'ish Lemania movement, it has nice Geneve stripes. I haven't had the dial off and only numbers on the movement are 18719 under the balance and on the barrel bridge. No markings on the case other than a different number on the inside of the outer case back. I haven't seen many Lemania stop watches with a single sub dial at 6, mostly they are at 12. Has anyone see similar or can help identify it. Much appreciated.

Very interesting! Thank you for your efforts.

Hi, this is my first post! I hope that someone can help me.

I have a none working stopwatch, by the scratch on the inside, it seems that it was last serviced in 1950. Can anyone give me any information/dates etc?
Here is the result of some compilation work about Omega and Lemania Timers. It's based on my own collection, some old Omega and Lemania catalogues and of course the Omega "A Journey through time" book from M. Richon. I'd be very happy to get more information... but it's hard to find... let me know...

Most serial numbers on Omega Timers are Lemania serial numbers and very little is know about it as all Lemania archives were lost. Here a graph that can help to date a Lemania serial number:
** crowns changed from round to cylinder around 1962.

I keep kidding myself into thinking that I am not collecting these things, and yet here we are. This just got in.

If my reading of the table is correct, this is a ref. MG1138 model with a high frequency calibre 5020. It's a lovely piece, whatever it may actually be.
