·Hi All - beginner here. This is an issue I will likely send to my watchmaker to have fixed, but wanted to post here first to see if anyone had experience with it.
After dropping my Speedmaster Racing (from about 2-3 feet onto carpet), the watch would tick only for a few seconds until shaken gently to get the rotor wound again. This went on for a few minutes before it stopped altogether. Looking at the movement now, the balance can freely rotate counter clockwise, but when released springs back to the position it started in. It cannot rotate clockwise at all. The watch is wound, and the hands are stuck in position. The crown can still be pulled out and the time set. See video below - sorry for the poor quality. Any ideas here? Thanks, Greg
