I'm going to offer up a number of parts that I've been collecting for "future projects" that really aren't going to be used. I have a Jaeger itch that needs scratching and the parts will cover a complete watch so it's a bit of a no-brainer. This bracelet is dated 3rd quarter of 1963 and is in good original condition. There are no major dings or scratches. All the sprung links spring as they should and there's minimal stretch in the fixed links. A total of 9 double spring links and 17 fixed. Closed, I measure the bracelet at 173mm or 6 and 13/16ths". With an Omega 600, this was a good fit on my 195mm wrist (almost 8 inches). As I said, this is in "original condition" . That means there are plenty of swirls and minor scratches. Have an hour with a Cape Cod cloth and they'll all vanish. If this doesn't sell fast, I'll clean it up and add a few quid for my time (oh, time ... I remember when I had more than I needed). So, to price. Given what these things go for I think £2100 is reasonable and that will include insured worldwide postage. PayPal is fine but F&F only. Bank transfer is also fine. If you're in the UK, we might be able to arrange meeting. It's a dark autumn evening here so the photos are lousy - I will add daylight ones in the morning. If you want particular photos or more details, feel free to ask. Please note: I will not sell the endlinks separately unless a buyer wants the bracelet only. If that happens, I'll relish (relist - damn autocorrect) the endlinks. Thanks for reading and to OF for providing the space. It's still miserable overcast weather but here's two additional photos in daylight, as promised. Should be more than enough for you to be able to zoom in and see every detail:
Someone care to donate to my "Buy Jimmy a ProPlof" fund? (I already bought the Jaeger ... it's not that I have a problem ... really).
Not exactly on hold but this has been "dibsed" by a member in negoatiations for a watch which would look good on it. In other words, still for sale but I've given another member first refusal.
Bracelet sold, subject to all the usual. The #4 endlinks are now available on their own at £250. In due course, I will close this thread and list a number of smaller items in a new post. Thanks OF!
