Omega 6100-2955 18k Gold Limited Edition: Logo ID Help

Hi everyone,

I recently acquired an unusual Omega reference 6100-2955 in solid 18k gold, sold in 1999 by Mads Laier (Copenhagen). The watch is part of a limited anniversary series (50 years / 1949–1999). The dial features a bird logo/emblem, which I believe is custom.

I’m trying to identify:

  • Which organization or company this anniversary edition was made for
  • Whether anyone has seen this logo before
  • Any history related to this special order
I have original papers confirming the gold content and provenance.
Any help or leads would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Andre Moreno

The OP may want to search for Danish companies founded in 1949. IMO, unless the watch has sentimental value, this is just a question of idle curiosity. I don't believe the engraving enhances the value of the watch.

Since the OP has the watch sales papers, they may want to approach Mads Laier directly as it’s possible they have sales records for the watch.
