·This 1960 552 movement is running pretty well on the wrist averaging -8.2 s/d when worn 24/7 over 30 days. I put it on the Weishi 1900 timegrapher in 6 positions using the proper 49 degree lift angle. I noticed huge discrepancies when in the 9 up and 12 up positions. Do these results suggest some particular mechanical issue that should be assessed by a watchmaker? Generally I have no issue with a 65 year old movement losing 8.2 s/d but I want to be proactive in keeping it from deteriorating.
