As I am sure you may gather, I am currently lacking in depth knowledge of vintage military omegas, hence this post for help.

I bought this Omega many year ago for a very small price from an antique dealer, I must confess at the time I had no idea about military watches or the history of these and I don't think the dealer did either (but did collect omegas so bought it on a whim)

Since then I have learn a bit more but I would like to know what the experts think. I hope it is a pretty straight and correct 53 fat arrow from what I have read and see, what do you guys think?

Ps I now have a replacement retainer ring and paper disk on order many thanks to member OMTOM
