Very nice! Wish there were more vintage Omegas in that size. I have a wonderful old Seamaster from the 50s, but at 34mm it is just too small.

Sigh.....

I like very much these "giants".
And I like your grey distressed straps!

Happy 2018 all!!!

I wanted to share some new pics (movement mainly) and wanted your opinion as I have to make a decision.
It's been established that it's a redial... now looking at the movement, it seams genuine and the case back calls out 2505-3 (77deluxe, you were correct).

After pointing out all the faults, the seller has agreed to take the watch back... here is my dilemma.

1. Send it back and recover my money.
OR
2. Try to find a genuine replacement dial to replace the redial.
OR
3. Shut up and live with the redial. (I still love the way it looks and feel, especially the 38mm case.)

Movement seems clean - overall a nice watch. Good wearable size. Personally, I’d keep it and add a new crystal. Negotiate a better price and it’s a win!

Keep it, leave it ... that depend the price you paid but if it is not too much money, I would keep it and just have the seconds restamped. I like it like that .

Depend how patient you want to be. In time you should be able find a better example. Though it can be hard most of theses size watches where shipped to South America. I have purchased several that have come from Argentina.
