Exceptional things command exceptional decisions. It’s been a matter of minutes to decide for this watch which at the end was a total nobrainer. Why? A birth year 33 years old watch in an absolute flawless unworn condition isn’t something you come across every day. I’d rather say it’s a freakin’ rare bird nowadays. A deal overseas is always tricky - this time it’s been smooth like butter and I am delighted to get this on time for #speedyTuesday Can only recommend Tom from luxuwrist.com for the great communication, speedy execution and attention to details
And I'd just like to add a breathless "Fuck me!". Sorry to anybody sensitive to profanity, but that's what I said.
Very nice one! I really like the yellow lume colour. I also had a speedy from mid 80s but the lume was more greenish.
It is a proof that birth year watches in this condition are still exist. You just have to find them. Congrats @kov! Great find.
Everything I am not @eugeneandresson @WatchWalker @bags1971 @WurstEver @Lonestar @JimInOz @omegaswisst @Darlinboy @raison_ @Fabulon @Linzer @jmazpiazu @Dash1 @queriver Thanks for the kind words, chaps. Much appreciated. Timing is everything Yes I am, slowly but surely Yes, that's why it a birth year watch to me, somehow Me too, I have several watches from the eighties and they all have a different lume hue. Greenish lume is more late seventies / early eighties. Exactly. Focus, hard work and lots of time ... and some luck to make it all work. Don't be ! You'll find yours, too. The most difficult is not to get distracted by lots of "opportunities" till the right one shows up. Great experiences have to be shared
Very nice, I hope to stumble upon a 1982 one day. Preferably in a month that I'm flush with inordinate amounts of cash.
