Omega 3570.50 / Question regarding 1479 bracelet w/812 endlinks

The bracelet and endlinks were sourced from two separate people. The bracelet itself wasn’t questioned and it is my belief that the endlinks themselves were only questioned as the quality of their finish in comparison to those from later years is relatively poor. That being said, I do not believe that the endlinks themselves are counterfeit; the watchmaker himself was relatively young and was perhaps quick to make an assumption.

The person who sold me the endlinks has been more than kind and has helped me throughout this whole ordeal. It was upon his suggestion I went to the AD with the parts. Thus, I do not believe that he knowingly sold me counterfeit parts if they are indeed so.

Do you have the opportunity to try out if the endlinks work on another Speedmaster, at best with another reference number?

I was hoping to have this opportunity, but unfortunately I do not have anybody here with another reference so that I could try it out.
