Omega 3303/3313 VS F.Piguet 1185

I’ll probably post a more complete comparison at some point. It has often been stated the 3303/3313 is based on the 1185. The 3303/3313 is actually based on the 1285. The two are related kinda like brother and sister. There are a lot of differences, beat rate, movements size, the running seconds and hour counter sub dials and component locations and thus reset hammer design, barrel size, etc. photos are from the disassembly portion of the service.

3313 left 1185(technically F185) right


3313 barre left, 1185 right. Both barrels were replaced during service for wear/damage.

1185 the long thin hammers resets all three runners.

3313, the long thin hammer only resets two runners.


the hour hammer lives under the Chronograph bridge
