Omega 33.3 dial inquiry

I have no strong opinion, but would be surprised if Dino were to misrepresent a dial as original.

Here is a dial with the same sub-dial design. As is evident, the Omega signature and emblem look very different.

The spacing of the letters in "Tachymetre" is quite wide, too. Overall, the character of the dial does not seem right, to me.

I have no relationship with Dino, but he has been selling exceptional (and expensive) watches for a number of years now, and they typically look correct. In no way am I excusing him if this is an exception, but I am certain that high-end dealers of his type are having a much more difficult time sourcing good, fresh stock these days, and may well be tempted to "push the envelope" as a result.

Dial looks ok. As a dial. Without the omega sign and omega wording..... Need a back of the dial pics for that kind of price. kind regards. Achim

I appreciate the perspective, Tony. I am no expert on Omega but the appearance of this dial, coupled with the trend that you allude to, makes me curious.

I have a few 40’s Omega chronographs and none of them have OMEGA looking like that.

Two others, not mine
