Morning all A bit of a catch and release this one, I bought it recently and then ended up buying a 30T2 Chronometre so this one is up again. It is a stunning 35mm (ex crown) 30T2 2383, running extremely well and I have had it checked over and timed and regulated. The movement is very clean, there is personalised engraving on the case back, which I think could have some military connotation. I have added a near new period peccary band and original correct staybrite buckle (these buckles are going for well over £70 now on their own) The watch is a real beauty and I don't want it just to end up languishing in a watch box so I wanted to offer it up to the community in the hopes that someone else can get plenty of wrist time out of it. It wears beautifully and large on the wrist, the case is substantial and nice and thick, it really is stunning with a suit or casually. The case is lovely, clean and crisp as you can see from the images, the sunburst silver dial is amazing and the hands match it correctly, there is a very small mark on the dial just below the O of Omega (which is barely visible), and a couple go light marks barely visible at the centre of the hands there are a few marks on the original Omega crystal but these would easily polish out and do not detract. The watch is presented with its original pig skin box I am looking for fundamentally what it owes me after i've had it checked over, added the band and buckle and cover shipping £385 shipped (worldwide International signed for or UK special delivery) Payment via BT or preferred Paypal (gift or you cover fees)
All, I have had a few questions on this one so felt best to share them for clarity: 1: I would normally welcome trades but would like a direct sale on this to re-release funds 2: The crystal and crown are both correct and original Omega ones 3: The dial is silver champagne 'starburst' 4: The caseback engraving could easily be removed but it is really nice and gives the 'originality' feel of the watch, the caseback on these models didn't originally feature an omega logo so could easily be returned to 'stock' if desired. Hope this helps Thanks Tom
Spacefruit, that's probably a jolly good idea, must admit I thought I'd don't be it in the original post!
Complete with bullet holes! Very nice - that is very high quality engraving. I think it is hand engraving, which is a dying skill.
