    Afternoon all

I brought this beauty with the intention of sourcing a replacement dial but then quite liked it and haven't got round to sourcing a replacement and with all my other watches it's simply getting no wrist time

It is a 35mm ex crown 30T2, the movement is in excellent condition and the case in perfect, original and never refinished condition. The movement is an early pink plated 10million movement with no loss of finish (although would benifit from a clean and service)

clearly this dial is what lets the general appeal of the watch down (factored in to the price), as mentioned I quiet like it but would have ultimately replaced the dial if I were keeping it.

Someone has tried to clean the dial at some point, it doesn't detract but you can see it around the 2:00 edge of the dial

Overall it's a potential beauty, if you have a spare dial or can source one or even have this one properly cleaned and it would be amazing

It's fitted with a period nos band which is stunning

I am looking for a bargainous £275 shipped

    Thanks Tom

Nice, but I wouldn't call it a jumbo (which were on the order of 37-38 for a 30T2). 35 is the usual size for these IMO (90% of them)...

    Thanks Adam

I was under the impression the majority of 30T2 were 33mm ex crown but happy to bow to consensus, either way a lovely 'little' thing for not much money

Tropical dial can be subjective to interpretation.

Absolutely agreed, as I've explained in the main body I brought with the intention of replacing the dial

As you will no doubt know this effect on my dial is caused by lacquer degradation, these dials used a natural/ plant based lacquer which can be removed if the owner is feeling brave using Dennis's method of lemon juice, I've done this very effectively in the past with great results.

I've priced the watch as a project with just this in mind expecting the owner will either love the dial and live with it or replace/ restore it but thank so much for your input
