·Hi guys I am looking at buying this Omega with 30t2 movement in. The ref no the case back isn't yielding any help. Can anyone help id the watch? Is the dial legit?

·That's a serial number, and it says that the watch has been produced in 1944.

·That watch probably was in WW2 trenches, sure has had a life. Love the 30T2 workhorse which is on my radar.

·I have a similar dial from a ref 2639. Sub seconds though.
The watch you posted is 32 - 33mm? Missing case screws and has had the case polished.

·The movement was made during the war. That’s all we can document. Highly unlikely it was a military issued watch. It certainly could have been on the wrist of a soldier, but there is no way to prove it.

Yes, indeed. I was being sarcastic due to the year being 1944 and due to the condition made the analogy.
